1. Legal Warranty (B2C)
In accordance with European and Italian consumer protection laws, all new products sold by Assopet to consumers (B2C) are covered by a legal warranty of 24 months from the date of delivery.
This warranty covers any lack of conformity that exists at the time of delivery and that manifests within the warranty period.
The customer must report the defect within 2 months of discovering it.
2. Extended Warranty for Consumers
On selected products with electronic components (e.g. clippers, dryers), Assopet extends the warranty period up to 36 months (3 years) at no additional cost.
Products with extended warranty clearly state this benefit in their respective product detail pages.
3. Warranty Conditions
- The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and cannot be transferred.
- A valid proof of purchase (invoice or receipt) must be presented to activate the warranty.
- Warranty claims must be submitted by contacting info@assopet.com before returning any product.
4. What Is Covered
- Defects in materials or manufacturing present at the time of delivery.
- Malfunctions not caused by improper use or external damage.
5. What Is Not Covered
- Normal wear and tear, including blades, brushes, carbon brushes, filters, and consumables.
- Damage caused by misuse, negligence, accidents, unauthorized repairs or modifications.
- Products returned without original packaging or accessories.
- Malfunctions due to failure to follow instructions in the user manual.
6. Commercial Clients (B2B)
For professional clients or companies (B2B), the warranty period may be limited and is defined contractually.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a 12-month warranty period applies.
7. Return Procedure and Responsibilities
- Before any return, the client must contact Assopet at info@assopet.com and wait for return instructions.
- If the defect is covered by warranty, Assopet will repair or replace the product free of charge.
- If the product is found not defective or not covered by warranty, the customer may be charged for diagnostic and return shipping costs.
8. Limitation of Liability
Assopet shall not be liable for indirect damages, loss of income, or consequential damages resulting from product malfunction.
